There’s word of lights behind the storm,
through wreckage, rot and stone.
A place where names still mean a thing,
and broken men get home.
From the cold and northern shores,
We turned our course away,
Across the waves of the Baltic Sea,
By winds we’re laid
Beneath the vast and starry dome,
Our course — true at last,
Guided by the evening stars
Leaving our past
And we’re in for stormy weather with waves crashing high,
The hard rain and lightning strikes from the sky.
And the Dark clouds are emerging and gripping our hope,
With our fate and our lives hanging by a rope.
Through the heat and endless waves,
Our ship begins to strain,
The sun beats down with scorching heat,
While we battle wind and rain.
Amid the struggle and the strife,
We hold a steadfast view
Longing for that safe embrace,
Where we’ll start anew.

As morning breaks new dawn.
Through the mist, a haven’s glow,
A refuge bathed in light,

We’re home at last tonight.
