Chapter the First
Where else should a tale such as ours begin, if not with the taste of rum and the stain of blood upon the deck – amidst the roaring seas and the drunken foreign merchants from far Mokha Port, their ships heavy with beans and sin alike?
Aye, and among them sail the frost-bitten northern bastards, the Boreal breed, whose hearts burn with the very fire that keeps their cold world at bay.
Thus begins 1725 – Chapter the First.
